Unleashing New Revelation in the Courts of Heaven
In recent years, a new revelation on the Courts of Heaven has been gaining popularity among Christian believers. The concept of the Courts of Heaven is based on the idea that, much like in the natural world, believers can approach God as the Judge of all and petition Him to move on their behalf (Deuteronomy 19:17). This approach to prayer is based on the belief that, through Jesus, believers have a covenant with God that is full of healing, prosperity, and deliverance (Psalm 82:1, Psalm 149:9, Isaiah 3:13).
Pastor Timothy Tomlinson explains that the Courts of Heaven can be used to address a wide range of issues, including marriage problems, financial difficulties, demonic oppression, woundedness from our past, and even healing. As an example of the power of the Courts of Heaven, Pastor Tomlinson shares the story of a woman in the US who had been dealing with OCD and intrusive thoughts since childhood. When she brought these issues before Jesus in the Courts of Heaven, she heard Him speak to her and reveal that the root of her struggles was a belief in the lies of the enemy and a generational spirit of fear. In the Courts of Heaven, Jesus spoke to her, took away her pain, and declared her not guilty (Matthew 18:18, Hebrews 4:16). As a result, she felt immediate healing and freedom.
The concept of the Courts of Heaven may be new to some believers, but it is based on scriptural principles. In the book of Deuteronomy, it is written that believers have the right to approach God as their Judge and make their case before Him (Deuteronomy 19:17). In the New Testament, believers are told to come before God's throne of grace with confidence, knowing that they will receive mercy and grace in their time of need (Hebrews 4:16).
The key to success in the Courts of Heaven is to come before God with a clear understanding of the covenant that believers have with Him through Jesus. By reminding the courts of all that Jesus did for us on the cross (Revelation 4:5), believers can present their case with confidence and trust that God will move on their behalf.
While the concept of the Courts of Heaven may be new to some, it is based on scriptural principles and has the potential to bring about powerful breakthroughs in answered prayer. As believers continue to learn more about the courts and how to approach them in prayer, they will be armed and dangerous to the enemy, able to claim their rights and receive all that God has promised them through His covenant with His people.
Here is a simple prayer that you can use to release your breakthrough in the Courts of Heaven: Father, in the name of Jesus, I come before you in the courts of heaven (Matthew 18:18) and present my petition before you. I declare that the Blood of Jesus has cleansed me and made me worthy to enter your presence. Jesus, will you tell me where this accusation came from and what legal right has opened this doorway?
(When Jesus reveals the root cause of the accusation, bring it before him individually and come before him as a friend and father to heal the issue. Remember to forgive and use spiritual warfare techniques, such as inner healing, to restore yourself.)
I ask that you hear my prayer and release my breakthrough in the area of [specific area of need]. I trust in your goodness and faithfulness, and I thank you for answering my prayer and giving me a verdict in your favor.
Blessings,
Pastor Timothy Tomlinson
