Aligning Your Prayers to Release Heaven's Verdicts

The Courts of Heaven Weekly Mentoring: Aligning Your Prayers to Release Heaven's Verdicts | Replay 08/01/2023

Finding Breakthrough in God's Heavenly Courtroom

Have you gotten tired of praying but not seeing answers? I've felt disappointment too. After years of praying hard without seeing change, I almost wanted to stop asking God for help. But then I learned about an amazing way to pray that changed everything! It helped me connect with God more deeply and finally get breakthrough. If you feel stuck in your prayers, I want to share what transformed my prayer life - going to God's heavenly courtroom.

Why Our Prayers Can Feel Unheard

In Matthew 6:7, Jesus said not to just repeat long prayers thinking God will hear us for all our words. While the Bible says to keep praying and not lose hope (Luke 18:1), God also wants us to pray in new ways lined up with His will. The key is matching our prayers with what God wants and His Word.

Why Our Prayers Can Feel Unheard

The truth is, the spiritual world works using laws and systems God put in place. Our prayers need a solid basis in God's rules to receive His help from heaven (James 4:2-3). If our prayers don't get answers despite praying a lot, it likely means we need to adjust our approach to match Heaven's ways. When we handle any blocks stopping God from responding by making right appeals to Him, breakthrough can happen!

Roadblocks to God Answering Prayer

There are things that can get in the way of our prayers and cause frustration. Unconfessed sin or disobedience gives the enemy legal rights to block God's blessing (Psalm 66:18). Jesus said if we cherish sin, God won't listen (Isaiah 59:1-2). Unforgiveness can also hinder breakthrough; God calls us to forgive like He forgave us (Matthew 6:14-15).

Offense, bitterness and conflicts give the enemy openings (Ephesians 4:26-27). Satan accuses believers before God day and night (Revelation 12:10). If we don't properly counter these lies and pray from a place of authority, the devil can prevent breakthrough. The Bible says our prayers are hindered if our relationships are wrong (1 Peter 3:7).

How the Heavenly Courts Function

To see breakthrough, we must walk in love, obedience, humility and keep praying (Luke 18:1-8). We need to prepare our hearts by forgiving, settling conflicts, and lining up with God's desires (Mark 11:25). As we give Him all known sin and approach Him with pure motives (Psalm 24:3-4), our prayers unlock Heaven's help.

Discovering God's Heavenly Courtroom

God's courtroom in heaven is real, not just symbolic. It's a spiritual and legal place we can access through prayer. God set up a court system in heaven where we can bring Him our cases directly and see His justice done for us (Hebrews 4:16).

What is the purpose of The Courts of Heaven

This court carries out God's good kingdom rule. When we bring appeals to God on His majestic throne (Daniel 7:9-10), the Holy Spirit acts to bring fair judgments from above.

In God's court, we can find mercy and help when we need it (Hebrews 4:16). We can present situations about healing, freedom, protection, provision, destiny, and victory over spiritual attacks. As we keep praying God's will, His heavenly gavel falls to grant wins, undo unfair decisions, unlock blessing, and bring justice (Revelation 5:8, 8:3-5).

Bringing Your Case to God's Throne

God's court is like an earthly one, with God as Supreme Judge ruling from His majestic throne (Revelation 4:2-3). Jesus stands before the Father as our Advocate, High Priest and Mediator, always interceding for us (1 John 2:1, Hebrews 7:25).

This court has books recording every person's life, words, prayers and actions (Revelation 20:12). God makes right judgments based on this evidence. When we repent and obey, it allows Him to rule in our favor (Acts 3:19).

Bringing Your Case to God's Throne

Angels carry out God's responses to prayers made in Jesus' name during court (Hebrews 1:14). As God's gavel falls with each verdict, angels act to fulfill His orders.

As believers, we can approach God's throne and directly present requests because Jesus opened the way (Hebrews 10:19-20). When we properly engage this spiritual legal realm in prayer, breakthrough is released into our lives!

Bringing Your Case Boldly Yet Respectfully

It's vital to know the power we have as Christians to declare God's will in prayer and deal with the devil's lies in God's court (Revelation 12:10-11). As we counter those lies, walk rightly and come to God with pure hearts (Psalm 24:3-4), our prayers enable Heaven to move strongly for us.

We must approach the Ancient of Days full of respect as entering an earthly court before a judge (Ecclesiastes 5:1-2). Yet because of Jesus' sacrifice, we can boldly come before God's throne and receive His mercy and help through prayer (Hebrews 4:16).

Partnering with God for His Kingdom

I want to encourage you to keep bringing your cases before God's throne in prayer (Hebrews 4:16). Keep seeking Him in His heavenly courtroom. As you connect intimately with the Holy Spirit during these times, Heaven will open - releasing blessing, breakthrough, justice and victory into your life (Zechariah 3:1-7)!

Let's join in prayer. I'm believing with you for wins and breakthrough today! God has so much when we learn to pray using His heavenly court system. Together, let's embrace this powerful way of praying that shifts spiritual forces and unleashes Heaven's help on earth (Matthew 6:10). Even now, God's gavel is falling to release long-awaited breakthrough over your life!

Pastor Tomlinson demonstrates principles in action by engaging volunteers:

Breakthrough in the Courts: Two Stories of Freedom and Restoration

In this powerful testimony, Sarah shares her journey of seeking breakthrough and freedom through the Courts of Heaven. Pastor Timothy then leads Sarah into presenting her case before the Lord for healing and restoration.

Drawing from the scriptures, Sarah walks through confessing and renouncing generational curses and witchcraft spoken against her. Pastor Timothy guides her, based on James 5:16, to forgive and ask the Lord to bring His justice and verdicts in her favor over these legal rights the enemy used against her.

Sarah's persistent appeals to Jesus as the Righteous Judge align with Luke 18:7-8 and Psalm 37:6, where the Lord promises to give justice to His elect who cry to Him day and night, and He will bring forth their righteousness as the light.

After her fervent supplication, Sarah hears the sweetest words - "not guilty" - as redemptive verdicts are decreed releasing her into new freedom, echoing the biblical promise of forgiveness and cleansing in 1 John 1:9.

In another impactful testimony, Misty transparently shares her story of having backslidden after years of freedom. The enemy unleashed confusion, torment, and discouragement. Pastor Timothy, following the example in Acts 10:42, leads Misty into the Courts of Heaven to identify these demonic strongholds.

As Misty chooses to realign with the Lord through repentance, as mentioned in Acts 3:19, and forgiveness, Jesus powerfully intervenes on her behalf. Misty has an encounter with the Lord where He reveals Himself as her shield against the enemy's attacks, reminiscent of Psalms 18:2 and Psalms 91:4.

Misty's persistent appeals before the Courts align with the biblical principles of prayer and spiritual warfare, as seen in Ephesians 6:12 and 2 Corinthians 10:4.

After this spiritual battle, Misty also hears "not guilty" - releasing the verdict of Heaven over her life, echoing the promise of victory and overcoming the world in 1 John 5:4 and Revelation 12:11.

Both Sarah and Misty's testimonies showcase the beauty of contending for breakthrough in the Courts of Heaven. As they humbly repented and appealed to the Righteous Judge, Jesus graciously extended mercy, in accordance with 2 Timothy 4:8, and pronounced "not guilty." These victories demonstrate the power available when believers learn to operate skillfully in the Courts of Heaven, as mentioned in Hebrews 4:16 and 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
