Speaking Life Over Your Life
I had an encounter with the Lord and He reminded me about forgiveness and the power of the tongue. The Lord revealed to me that there is power when we open our mouths and speak out that we forgive someone. Just not saying we forgive that person but putting their names into the prayer. You see life and death are in the power of the tongue; so by speaking it out loud we speak life over that situation and let the Lord do the rest of the work. When I say work I’m referring to the Lord working on your heart and healing that opened wound. When the healing happens from the Lord then He locks that open wound away; each wound we have has a doorway where the enemy has a legal right to torment and aggravate.
Have you ever noticed that when we think about the person who hurt you, aggravated you or spoke bad about you; that experience loops. I call it the tormented loops. It brings back to remembrance the part that hurt you. That is the enemies job to attack your past hurts and pains and he has every right until we ask the Lord to help us forgive and speak out the person’s name that you are forgiving. At that point the enemy has no legal right to open that door ever. Now he may tempt you and try to bring back remembrance however that wound is now healed and it makes it very difficult for the enemy to attack. That’s why when you forgive your neighbor you aren’t tormented about what happened months or years later. The enemy knows when he has lost that battle and will find a new wound that hasn’t been healed yet rather than trying to aggravate a healed wound.
So often we don’t say I forgive the person’s First and Last name. We say it internally and sometimes we don’t even do that. We just think Lord please help me forgive those who have done wrong to me. THE LORD TOLD ME TO TELL YOU to speak out the persons name and say Father I forgive them in Jesus name. By doing this you are releasing life through your tongue because life and death are in the power of the tongue. Then you release that unforgiveness the enemy looses his control over that situation and it is now covered by the blood. That means it’s healed and sealed! Satan can’t unlock it!
We need to take a moment and think about all of the people who have hurt us that we have not forgiven. When we do this the enemy looses legal rights over each wound. We need to forgive everyone who has hurt us. We can do a blanket prayer over past hurts however if you remember a past hurt from someone so does the enemy and you need individual healing from that wound. Somethings we aren't just going to remember. That's where the blanket prayer works.
Matthew 6:12 (NIV) And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Matthew 6:14-15 (NIV) For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
As Christians we need to have to get organized and have resources like what I’m sharing with you for your daily prayers. We need to have a formula just like Jesus shared with the disciples. The Lords prayer is great, we just need to add on to it the armor of God, renew our minds and pray in the spirit on all occasions. We should also add our families, our friends and our enemies to our formula for praying. When we pray for our friends, family and enemies we need to ask the Lord to heal, to provide, to promote and to create a heavenly barrier of protection. I like to add for my immediate family for God to soften their hearts so they will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and change their eating habits to healthy eating and being fit so they will reap the full benefits of a long life.
I’m expecting to live to be at least 120 years old according to what God shared with Noah.
Genesis 6:3 (NIV) Then the Lord said, My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.
That’s my prayer! I want my family to a live long life and help establish the kingdom of God. Today our activation prayer is
Matthew 6:12 (NIV) And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Father God we come before you in Jesus name and worship and adore you. Father God I want to be cleaned up so I can be used by you even greater and so that the enemy will not have a stronghold on my life. Father God forgive me for my sins (Share with the Lord what sins you ave committed from the most recent to the oldest to the best of your remembrance).Lord for the sins that I don’t remember I ask you to do a blanket covering and wash me clean by your blood and forgive me for my wickedness.
Father I now forgive those who have done me wrong and have borrowed from me (speak the persons name and a small description of what they get done and tell the Lord that you forgive them. You will need to do this for every person that you have held unforgiveness for. In the beginning this will take some time and I suggest that you get a pen and paper and write down from the most immediate person who hurt you and bring it all the way back to your childhood. The ones that you cannot remember asked the Lord to bring back remembrance of those who have hurt you so that you can forgive them. For the people that you don’t remember who have hurt you you were going to ask the Lord to put a blanket covering over those old wounds and heal your heart. Once the Lord brings back to remembrance then forgive them and move on.)
Father lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. Lord now that I’m cleaned up and that I have forgiven those who have done me wrong I now put on the full armor of God.
Ephesians 6:13-18 CEB Therefore, pick up the full armor of God so that you can stand your ground on the evil day and after you have done everything possible to still stand. So stand with the belt of truth around your waist, justice as your breastplate, and put shoes on your feet so that you are ready to spread the good news of peace. Above all, carry the shield of faith so that you can extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is God’s word. Offer prayers and petitions in the Spirit all the time. Stay alert by hanging in there and praying for all believers.
Father now with my armor on I am able to go into the spiritual battle field of my day and stand firm in the power of your might.
Lord I lift up the Lords people along with my friends, family and enemies (Matthew 5:44). Lord I pray a hedge of protection over them as I stand in the gap for those who are not saved (Ezekiel 22:30). Father please send the Lord of the harvest (Matthew 9:38) to minister to my friends.
